As usual, we took our annual trip downtown Portland to see Santa. It wasn't quite the same this year, because Macy's has bought Meier and Frank and the 10th floor Santaland was closed (it will now become part of a hotel). But, Santa was there and Charlotte could have cared less where he was. Nicholas is now part of the "keeping the secret" group. They had a great time visiting with Santa and then hanging out with Grammi and Grampi while Jonathan and I went shopping. The kids did a wonderful job of decorating the tree and setting up the train in the living room. Charlotte and I have made lots of cookies and she went to her first cookie exchange with some of her friends from school.
